Serving size : 4 – 6 ppl

Ingredients:

1. broken wheat – 1/2 cup
2. coconut milk – 3 cups
3. jaggery – 1 cup
4. cucumber – 1
5. dry fruits like cashews, almonds, raisins – 1/2 cup
6. cardamom powder – 1 tsp
7. salt to taste

Method:

1. grate the cucumber.
2.wash the broken wheat and pressure cook along with grated cucumber, 2 cups of water, salt for 2 whistles.
3. once the broken wheat is cooked, add jaggery, dry fruits and let it cook for 3 minutes.
4. Add coconut milk and cardamom powder and cook on low flame for 2 mins. The kheer is ready.
