Steamed baby potatoes – 10-12
Peanut curd – 1/2 cup
Chilli powder to taste
Onions – 1
turmeric powder 1 tsp
Garam masala : 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Soaked poppy seeds – 1 tbsp
- Take baby potatoes with the peel and marinate with curd salt and chilli powder
- Make paste of posto ( poppy seeds)
- Roast cut onion and add poppy seeds paste to it
- Add all the spices : salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam Masala
- Then add potatoes to it and cook for few mins
- Add the marinated curd water to it and put the mixture in cooker for 2 to 3 vessels.
- Aloo posto is ready.
